The Institute for Multidisciplinary Scientific and Technological Research (ICSTM) of "Valahia" University of Târgoviște is hosting the fifth edition of the International Conference on Sensory Education and Food Analysis (ICSEFA 2026) on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The conference is organized by Valahia University of Târgoviște in collaboration with Caucasus International University (Georgia), the University of Basilicata (Italy), the European School for Sommeliers, and the National Federation of Expert Tasters of Romania. Now in its fifth edition, ICSEFA has become a meeting point for researchers, academics, and practitioners working at the intersection of food science, sensory perception, and education.
Specialists from the academic community, as well as producers of wine, cheese, canned goods, and other food products, are expected to attend the event. Indeed, the dialogue between research and practice is a defining feature of ICSEFA: scientific findings are discussed with those capable of transforming them into quality products and services, and new collaborations often emerge from these encounters.
