Andreea Laura BĂNICĂ

Andreea-Laura Bănică is a scientific research assistant at ICSTM – Valahia University of Târgoviște and a PhD student in the field of environmental engineering. Her research focuses on sample preparation by microwave digestion for ICP-MS/AAS/Hg analyser measurements, the determination of physico-chemical indicators, and the extraction, identification and characterisation of microplastics in environmental, water and food samples. Her profile combines analytical laboratory expertise with the assessment of risks associated with emerging contaminants.
