The service is intended for beneficiaries seeking to reduce energy consumption, optimise operating costs, increase sustainability and align with current energy efficiency requirements.
Through this service, ICSTM carries out applied technical analyses of energy consumption, of the energy behaviour of the building and of the main systems that influence energy performance. The activities may include in-depth energy audits, the identification of losses and inefficiencies in the building envelope, the assessment of HVAC systems, lighting analysis, the review of energy management practices, and the formulation of optimisation measures tailored to each type of building.
The service supports informed decision-making on the modernisation of building services, the improvement of insulation, the integration of intelligent control systems, the optimisation of consumption and the use of renewable energy sources. Through the use of data-based methodologies and simulation tools, alternative intervention scenarios can be assessed, along with their estimated impact on energy consumption and the techno-economic benefits of the solutions proposed.
